You start as a Drifter the day you create an account. Every row below is a step up—requirements and benefits apply as described in the Terms of Service.

Automatic rank updates
Titles 0–6 are recalculated from your account data: released and refunded Vault deals (as seller), total Scraps you received on released deals, completed paid Overseer audits (the limited free preview tier does not count toward rank progression), and Karma. Rank 7 is never set by automation. After each relevant event (deal release or refund, audit completion), ranks refresh; on server start, all accounts are synced once.
Seller-side Vault refunds reduce Karma by 3 (minimum 0) and count against “0 refunds as seller” requirements.

Karma
Karma reflects how others rate you after completed deals—response time, accuracy of listings, and how disputes were handled. Several ranks require a minimum Karma and a clean dispute record. It goes up with strong performance and can fall if deals go wrong.
